The Market
Surveillance Department is responsible for establishing and maintaining
standards for the fair, orderly, and efficient operation of the securities
market and for surveillance of the operations of such a market.
It is
also responsible for ensuring compliance with the securities laws,
regulations and procedures by the stock exchange and all exchange
related entities either licensed by or having offering documents registered
with the Commission. This includes dealers, investment advisers and
their representatives and agents.
